ClamAV is a popular open-source (GPL) antivirus designed to detect trojans, viruses, malware and other threats. It is available as a plugin for cPanel servers and lets each cPanel user scan their home directory and email and remove infected files.
1. Log in to WHM at https://your-server-ip:2087 with your username and password.
2. Go to the cPanel section in WHM.
3. Click Manage Plugins.
4. Find ClamAV Scanner in the list, tick Install and keep updated and click Save. You can uninstall plugins from the same page.
The installation takes a few minutes and shows its log as it runs. When it finishes, you will see a success message.
