In short: To remove Webmin from a Linux server: on RHEL, CentOS or Fedora run rpm -e webmin if you installed it from an RPM package, or /etc/webmin/uninstall.sh if you installed it from a tar file. On Debian or Ubuntu run apt-get –purge remove webmin, and on Solaris run pkgrm WSwebmin.

RHEL, CentOS, AlmaLinux and Fedora #
If Webmin was installed from an RPM package:
rpm -e webmin
If it was installed from the tar file on the Webmin website:
/etc/webmin/uninstall.sh
The script asks for confirmation, stops Webmin and deletes its files:
Are you sure you want to uninstall Webmin? (y/n) : y Stopping Webmin server ... Running uninstall scripts .. Deleting /etc/webmin .. Done!
Debian and Ubuntu #
apt-get --purge remove webmin
Solaris #
pkgrm WSwebmin
Tip: after removing Webmin, close its port (10000 by default) in your firewall.
