What do I need to register a Saudi domain?

Saudi domains follow registration rules set by the Saudi Network Information Center, and the registrant's identity is verified through the Nafath platform in every case. Choose your type to see the right extension and the documents required:

For individuals

.sa.pub.sa.السعودية

For a natural person holding a Saudi national ID or premium residency.

  • National ID number
  • A personal name linked to your identity, or another name with an explanation of its purpose and audience
  • Verification through the Nafath platform

For companies and establishments

.com.sa.sa.السعودية

For entities with a valid commercial registration, or owning a trademark or trade name registered in Saudi Arabia.

  • A valid commercial registration (CR) number
  • A name matching the establishment name in the CR, a logical abbreviation, or a registered trademark
  • Verification through the Nafath platform

For education providers

.edu.sa.sch.sa

edu.sa for education and training institutions such as universities and institutes; sch.sa for schools up to secondary level.

  • A valid licence from the competent authority, such as the Ministry of Education or TVTC
  • A name linked to the institution

For health providers
