Cloud backup means keeping a copy of your files on secure external servers over the internet, instead of relying on your device or an external disk in the same office. If the device fails, gets lost or infected, your files stay safe and you restore them anytime, from anywhere. It is a core part of protecting any business, whatever its size.
With Hyyat Host business hosting plans, your site gets automatic daily, weekly and monthly backups from the server, plus a monthly off-site copy, with no setup on your part. Other plans vary, and limited plans do not include backups.
We do not keep a separate copy for every day of the year; that would need servers twice the size of the hosting. Instead we take today's copy at, say, 7 am; it stays available for 24 hours, and the next morning a new copy replaces it, all year round. Weekly and monthly backups work the same way. So you can always restore your site as it was yesterday, at the start of the week, or at the start of the month. Business plans also get a monthly off-site copy. Still, these copies are an extra help whose completeness we cannot guarantee, so we always advise keeping your own backup, which is where the backup plans or Storage Box help.
