Enter an IP address, a range of addresses or a domain name, and click Add. Blocked addresses appear at the bottom of the page, where you can delete any of them to remove the block.<\/div>\n<p>If an IP address is attacking your site, sending spam through your forms or using too many resources, you can block it from your cPanel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> Log in to cPanel (see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hyyat.com\/en\/knowledgebase\/how-to-log-in-to-cpanel\/\">how to log in to cPanel<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> In the <strong>Security<\/strong> section, click <strong>IP Blocker<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> Enter what you want to block. Examples are shown under the box:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A single IP: 192.168.1.18<\/li>\n<li>A range: 192.168.1.10-192.168.1.20<\/li>\n<li>A CIDR block: 192.168.1.0\/24<\/li>\n<li>A domain name, which is resolved to its IP address.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4.<\/strong> Click <strong>Add<\/strong>. The address appears in the list of blocked IPs at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.<\/strong> To remove a block, click <strong>Delete<\/strong> next to the address.<\/p>\n<p>If you cannot reach your own site, your IP may be blocked by the server firewall instead; see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hyyat.com\/en\/knowledgebase\/cannot-access-website-cpanel-ip-blocked\/\">cannot open your website or cPanel from your computer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>How do I find the IP address to block?<\/h2>\n<p>You can see your visitors&#8217; IP addresses in your access logs; see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hyyat.com\/en\/knowledgebase\/view-website-visitor-stats-awstats\/\">how to view your website visitors in cPanel<\/a>. Look for an address that sends an unusual number of requests or keeps trying pages such as wp-login.php.<\/p>\n<h2>Good to know<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>IP Blocker only blocks access to <strong>your website<\/strong>.
