Then in cPanel, go to Databases, then Remote MySQL, and add the same address. Only allow specific IP addresses; do not use %, which opens your databases to everyone.<\/div>\n<p>By default, remote MySQL connections are disabled on cPanel servers. You need them when an application or website on another server connects to your database, or when you manage the database from a program on your computer such as MySQL Workbench or HeidiSQL. Only allow specific, trusted IP addresses, because opening databases to everyone is a serious security risk.<\/p>\n<h2>In WHM (server administrators)<\/h2>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> Log in to WHM at <strong>https:\/\/your-server-ip:2087<\/strong> with your username and password.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hyyat.com\/zasogooh\/2018\/04\/whm.png\" alt=\"WHM login\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> Go to <strong>SQL Services<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hyyat.com\/zasogooh\/2019\/04\/Remote-MySQL.png\" alt=\"SQL Services\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> Click <strong>Additional MySQL Access Hosts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hyyat.com\/zasogooh\/2019\/04\/Remote-MySQL2.png\" alt=\"Additional MySQL Access Hosts\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>4.<\/strong> Enter one or more hostnames or IP addresses and click <strong>Save<\/strong>.
