To turn it on or off: log in to the client area, go to Domains, then My Domains, choose the domain and open Manage Domain, then choose Registrar Lock and enable or disable it. Keep it enabled at all times, except when you want to transfer the domain.<\/div>\n<p>Domain lock, also called registrar lock or transfer lock, is a protection for domains in your client area. While it is on, your domain cannot be transferred to another registrar. To transfer your domain, you need to unlock it first.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hyyatdomain.com\/clientarea.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">client area<\/a> (see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hyyat.com\/en\/knowledgebase\/explain-how-to-enter-the-client-area\/\">how to log in to the client area<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hyyat.com\/zasogooh\/2017\/04\/login-hyyat.png\" alt=\"Client area login\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> In the menu, click <strong>Domains<\/strong>, then <strong>My Domains<\/strong>, or go there directly: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hyyatdomain.com\/clientarea.php?action=domains\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">my domains<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hyyat.com\/zasogooh\/2019\/04\/domain.png\" alt=\"Domains menu\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> You will see all your domains.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hyyat.com\/zasogooh\/2019\/04\/domain1.png\" alt=\"Domain list\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>4.<\/strong> Click <strong>Active<\/strong> next to the domain, or click the key icon and choose <strong>Manage Domain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hyyat.com\/zasogooh\/2019\/04\/domain1-1.png\" alt=\"Choose the domain\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hyyat.com\/zasogooh\/2019\/04\/domain22.png\" alt=\"Manage Domain\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>5.<\/strong> On the overview page, scroll down to the management options and choose <strong>Registrar Lock<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hyyat.com\/zasogooh\/2019\/04\/domain2.png\" alt=\"Registrar Lock\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If the lock is <strong>disabled<\/strong>, click <strong>Enable Registrar Lock<\/strong> to protect the domain.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hyyat.com\/zasogooh\/2019\/04\/domain2552.png\" alt=\"Lock disabled\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If it is <strong>enabled<\/strong>, your domain is protected.
