Here is how to restore a full account backup in WHM.<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> Log in to WHM at <strong>https:\/\/your-server-ip:2087<\/strong> with your username and password.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hyyat.com\/zasogooh\/2018\/04\/whm.png\" alt=\"WHM login\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> upload the backup file to your server&#8217;s <strong>\/home<\/strong> directory first; otherwise the restore tool will not find it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> Type <strong>backup<\/strong> in the search box and click <strong>Restore a Full Backup\/cpmove File<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hyyat.com\/zasogooh\/2018\/11\/screenshot-1.png\" alt=\"Restore a Full Backup\/cpmove File\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hyyat.com\/zasogooh\/2018\/11\/screenshot-2.png\" alt=\"Restore options\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Restore options<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Restore with Username:<\/strong> the default; restores a backup already uploaded to the server.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Restore with File:<\/strong> restores a backup file from your computer.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Username for the account you wish to restore:<\/strong> choose from the available backups, or type the username.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A record update:<\/strong> update all DNS A records, or only the basic A records created by cPanel. The first option is usually enough when moving from an old server you no longer use.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Overwrite the existing user:<\/strong> useful when restoring a backup of an account that already exists on the server.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Assign a Dedicated IP Address:<\/strong> give the account its own IP, if you have spare IPs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> Select the backup you want and click <strong>Restore<\/strong>.
