Optimizing Apache web server on WHM?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Apache<\/a> is a freely available web server that is distributed under an “open source” license.<\/p>\n

Version 2.0 works on most UNIX-based operating systems. cPanel & WHM manages the Apache web server and its components<\/p>\n

Using EasyApache.<\/p>\n

When you install cPanel & WHM 11.52 or later, the default (quick) installation method uses the EasyApache configuration by default cPanel, WHM 11.50 and earlier versions of EasyApache during the installation process.<\/p>\n

EasyApache<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It is a program that installs, modifies and validates the Apache, PHP, Tomcat, and other components of your web server.<\/p>\n

cPanel & WHM does not require the use of EasyApache, but it provides a convenient and easy way to modify your web server.<\/p>\n

You can follow these steps to modify Apache directives for maximum performance:<\/p>\n

1- We enter the server control panel via http:\/\/ip:2086\/ ip<\/span>
\n<\/strong><\/h4>\n

With the change of the IP to the IP number of the server<\/p>\n

We put the username<\/strong> <\/span>and password<\/span> <\/strong>for the login process<\/p>\n

2- Once logged in, search for \u201cService Configuration\u201d and click on it.<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n

3- In the new menu, click on Apache Configuration.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n

4- In Apache Configuration select Global Configuration.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n

5- In the Global Configuration list, we will need to make changes in different areas as follows and click Save.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n
StartServers = 5<\/strong>\r\nMinSpareServers = 5<\/strong>\r\nMaxSpareServers = 10<\/strong>\r\nServerLimit = 500<\/strong>\r\nMaxRequestWorkers = 500<\/strong>\r\nMaxRequestsPerChild = 4000<\/strong>\r\nTimeout = 20<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<\/pre>\n
