2- How to configure nic teaming<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the previous lesson, we talked about<\/p>\n

How to configure nic teaming<\/h2>\n

We collect the cards or ports so that one exit comes out and then we make a virtual inter face (VIF)<\/p>\n

I will tell him that the network card is a slave and that the master is a virtual inter face<\/p>\n

There are two ways to collect more than one card<\/span><\/h2>\n

1-bonding it works in red hat 6 and redhat 7 and it works with kernel<\/span><\/h3>\n

2-teaming and it works on red hat 7 only and it is the best and it works with user space<\/span><\/h3>\n

In this lesson, we will explain the second method<\/p>\n

We install team with the following command:<\/p>\n

yum install -y teamd<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We write the following command to make the settings for the network cards<\/p>\n

nmtui<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The following options will appear:<\/p>\n

Choose Edit a connection<\/p>\n

After that, the cards on the server will appear with their names<\/p>\n

Choose the first card as in the following picture and press add<\/p>\n

We choose team, then click on create, as shown in the following picture:<\/p>\n

Wee make the settings as follows:<\/p>\n

We also add the second card, as in the picture<\/p>\n

After adding the network cards that we want to create a team for, I come to add the json configuration<\/p>\n

To get the json configuration we will find it under the following path:<\/p>\n
