# ImunifyAV Malware Scanner at Hyyat Host

**In short:** Hyyat Host servers run **ImunifyAV** from CloudLinux. It scans website files automatically and detects malware, hacked files (such as web shells) and injected code. You can see your site's scan results in cPanel, then Security, then ImunifyAV. If an infected file is found, our support team helps you clean it.

To keep the websites we host secure, Hyyat Host runs the **ImunifyAV** malware scanner on our servers. It is developed by CloudLinux, the same company behind our server operating system.

## What is ImunifyAV?

ImunifyAV is a malware scanner built for hosting servers. It scans website files automatically and regularly, checks new and changed files, and detects:

- Malware and hacking files such as web shells (including C99 Shell).
- Malicious code injected into PHP and JavaScript files.
- Phishing pages and spam-sending scripts uploaded by attackers.

Its detection rules are updated continuously to catch new threats.

## How to see your scan results

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. In the **Security** section, click **ImunifyAV**.
3. You will see the scan status and a list of infected files, if any.

If an infected file is found on your site, open a support ticket and we will help you clean it and find how the site was hacked.

**Note:** we previously used the CXS tool from ConfigServer, but the company closed in August 2025 and the tool no longer receives updates, so we switched to ImunifyAV, which is updated continuously.
